Rolls-Royce Announces Launch of EV Luxury Car Spectre

With the newest James Bond escapade "No Time to Die" released in cinemas this week, one might – when hearing of 'Spectre' – be drawn to the last of James’ adventures, back in 2015.

Hold on to your hats, though. Nearly as lavish and, arguably, just as exciting is Rolls-Royce's announcement this week that it will launch its first pure electric vehicle: its very own, thoroughly sexy Spectre.

Due to go on sale in late 2023, the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Torsten Müller-Ötvös-Otvos, said BMW Group-owned Rolls-Royce will be creating “the first – and finest – super luxury product of its type.”

Muller-Otvos and his #leadership team are, conjointly, repurposing their #business to stop selling petrol, diesel and hybrid vehicles from 2030. This transition to #sustainability is, what he reflects to be, the “most significant” moment since the founding of Rolls-Royce nearly 120 years ago, in 1904 in Manchester, England.

What can one say but here's to more business models being positively shaken and positively stirred.
